Do I need quantum computing or programming experience?

No. The opening workshop brings everyone up to speed, and office hours are available throughout the week to help you build your project.

Do I need a team?

Yes, teams of 2-5 are required to participate.

Do I have to be there the whole week?

The only in-person days are the kickoff on November 6 and the presentations on November 13. In-person attendance is mandatory only for the presentations. In between, you work on your own schedule and drop into virtual office hours as needed.

Do I need to bring a laptop?

Yes, a laptop will be necessary to utilize IBM's Quantum Computing Cloud and Qiskit.

Is it really free?

Yes — registration, food, and access to IBM's Quantum Computing Cloud are all free.

Can students from other universities join?

Our event is open to all students, regardless of university. However, space is limited and we encourage you to register early!
