The Ohio State University
A week-long quantum computing hackathon at The Ohio State University. Join us for a week of learning, building, and creating with Qiskit!
Qiskit Fall Fest is a global series of student-organized quantum computing events supported by IBM Quantum. This November, The Quantum Club @ The Ohio State University will be hosting a Qiskit Fall Fest PLUS. We open on Friday, November 6 with a guest talk by IBM Quantum and a beginner-friendly Qiskit workshop. The hackathon prompts will be released shortly after. You have the following week to build with office hours along the way. On Friday, November 13, we finish with presentations, judging, and prizes!
By IBM Quantum. Where does quantum computing stand today and what are people using it for? Where is the industry headed?
A hands-on Qiskit session: qubits, gates, circuits, and running your first program on real IBM Quantum hardware. Start from zero, leave with working code.
Form a team, pick a problem, and build over the week. Organizers hold office hours throughout so you're never stuck. The best projects win prizes!
Who should come?
There are no prerequisites. Physics, CS, math, engineering and business majors are all welcome! We've built the week so that someone seeing a quantum circuit for the first time on November 6 can still ship a project by the 13th. There's also room for those experienced with Qiskit to build something more advanced.
Registration is free and takes a couple of minutes. Don't forget to join the Discord, where teams are formed, problems drop, and questions get answered throughout the week.
